The New Forest Tourism Association New Forest Tourism Association was formed in 1989 to work in partnership with New Forest District Council to promote the New Forest as a quality year-round holiday and business destination. Today, NFTA works closely with both the New Forest District Council, National Park Authority Forestry Commission to both promote and market the New Forest as one of the premier tourism destinations within the UK. In addition, via the various Sector Groups network and the Steering Group structure we are able to support our membership in matters relating to the Tourism business. NFTA recognises the need to preserve and protect the natural beauty of this sensitive and unique area of England and works with the National Park Authority and Forestry Commission to ensure that visitors understand the special nature of the area.
